Orlando Childbirth Class
Childbirth Education for Real Life Births
Birth doesn’t come in just one version — and neither should childbirth education.
Our comprehensive childbirth class is designed for families planning home or hospital births, including those expecting or navigating inductions and C-sections. We focus on practical, evidence-based information and real-world skills so you and your partner feel prepared, supported, and confident — no matter how your birth unfolds.
This class is especially loved by partners who want to know how to actually help, not just “be there.”

" I wanted to thank you for the great class in early November! The week after the class I was admitted to the hospital with preeclampsia with severe features…I was able to stay on bedrest there for close to a month! We welcomed our baby at 33 weeks via emergency c-section. I really felt much better knowing what we did from your class about the c-section, and it got me through. Unfortunately, our story didn’t end there. I then got HELLP syndrome which put me in the ICU for almost a week, when she was in NICU. But your class helped my husband take care of the baby when we were separated. He felt like he had a baseline of infant care and with the help of the nurses he thrived!
Thanks so much for a wonderful class- we never knew how much we would use some of the information and resources you provided . "

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this class right for us if we’re planning a hospital birth?
Yes. This class is designed for families planning hospital or home births. We cover hospital policies, interventions, inductions, and C-sections in detail — along with comfort measures and advocacy skills that apply in any setting.
What if we’re planning (or end up needing) an induction or C-section?
You are absolutely in the right place. We spend intentional time on induction education and Cesarean births, including how to prepare, what choices you may have, and how partners can be supportive throughout the process. Our goal is for you to feel informed and confident, not surprised or rushed.
Do partners or support people attend the class?
Yes — and they’re encouraged to attend.
Partner support is a major focus of this class. We teach hands-on comfort techniques, positioning, communication tools, and ways to support decision-making during labor and birth. Many partners say this is the most helpful part of the class.
When should we take this class?
Most families take the class sometime between 28–36 weeks, but earlier or later can still be helpful. If you’re unsure about timing, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help you decide.
Is this class only for people planning an unmedicated birth?
Not at all. This class supports all pain management choices, including epidurals, medications, and unmedicated birth. We focus on helping you understand your options so you can make informed decisions that feel right for you.
Do you cover breastfeeding and newborn care?
Yes. We cover breastfeeding basics, pumping, combination feeding, and realistic expectations for the early days. We also go over basic newborn care, normal newborn behavior, and what to expect in the immediate postpartum period.
Is this a judgment-free class?
Absolutely. We do not teach one “right” way to give birth or feed a baby. Our approach is inclusive, evidence-based, and supportive, no matter your preferences or how your birth unfolds.
How big are the classes?
We intentionally keep class sizes small to allow for in-depth discussion, questions, and hands-on practice.
What if we still have questions before registering?
We’d love to connect. You can reach out anytime with questions to make sure this class is the right fit for your family.
